Putting A-Roid and his juiced up 600 as the top play of the day.

    what a joke.

Gary Matthews (among numerous other sports announcers) bashed arod good last night and i loved it.

Don't be mad that Bonds and soon ARod will blow away the HR totals of your child hood favorite players. Records are made to be broken. Stop being such a baby about it. Every era looks for a way to discredit new players and it makes no sense to me.

Why does this surprise you? Every time you turn around ESPN is doing something that makes you think the place is being run by 12-year-olds who don't know any better.

I would put every dollar I have that ARod, Bonds, McGwire, Clemens will all be in the HOF eventually. As soon as my generation gets in power and realizes these guys were all time greats

McGwire was not an all-time great.........HOLY COW.

The other three certainly can be considered ............but McGwire was a glorified DAVE KINGMAN

McGwire was the one of the top 4 best hitters in baseball for almost the whole 1990's. Griffey, Thomas, Bonds and McGwire were the 90's.

its just a mark in history... they have to do it or there would be so much controversy. But yes i agree his 600 is not legit and should not be counted

yeah, a-rod the great. when sylvester stallone and vince mcmahon becomes president.

what kind of 'great superstar' takes so many at bats (and does so shitty in that time frame) just to hit one homerun? maybe one who used to take roids and now currently doesnt? prob

Get off his nuts guys, yeah he took roids, but a lot of people were during that time - he stopped though. He's the only active player left with at least 600 home runs, he's the man at the moment...

And no, I don't condone taking illegal drugs, but people make mistakes

yea ESPN is a disappointment when it comes to MLB. They excel at college football coverage but they really suck at MLB coverage.
