How many countries in the World have a baseball league
I'm wondering ? I know Japan, Mexico and of course USA. Any others ?

dominicans and cubans have to have some type of leagues I would think, and venezuela just because so many great players

all countries has leagues. Panama has lots of leagues. Little league, Pro league etc.

Mexico, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Dominicana have strong winter leagues, with a few MLB players. The main Cuba league also plays on winter.
In summer, Japan, Mexico and Korea are the best known. Cuba has a short summer season.

netherlands and italy must have leagues, I mean they have national baseball teams, they must have a local league to produce players

Yes, there is a league in Italy. I remember that in the 80s, when most players refused to play in the Mexican League and formed a players league (ANABE), the leaders were never allowed back after the players league folded, so a few went to play in Italy.

canada has independent leagues across the country, with ontario having the mos former mlb pros and some young prospects who are waiting to get drafted.
