    ESPN killing MLB
These ESPN commentators are F'n clueless. Sutcliff is comparing his observations from 20 years ago to todays players in order to try to justify ozzie guillen's latest rant. You cant compare a Korean or Japanese star, who comes to the MLB as a proven player, with a latino prospect who is all potential and no proven talent.
And you certainly cant compare a green rookie fresh off the boat in the 80's to a Daisuke Matsuzaka!

Hmm, I actually thought his commentary was good... Rationalizing Guillen's rant and sticking up for him in general.

Their comments are comments, nothing more and nothing less. They get paid for rating. Rating comes from controversy. None of which has anything to do w/ sports. These commentators have to pick a side, and sit there to make their cases to fill their 30 minutes slot.

i agree that the comments were interesting...even if the opinion is based on a player out of the game for 20 yrs, it allows for a comparison to see if things have changed or not
