Hello all. I have not been on this forum for several weeks due to the amount of units I lost betting in the month of July. Some of you may have viewed my thread that I quit on after losing over 30 units. My unit structure was $100 a unit when I started. Throughout the break, I have created my very own chase system in which I call the Money Management Over/Under Chase. I have already tested this system out with small bets and parlays. This system seems to be profitable in the long run as well as the short run. In the one week trial, I have already closed many chases and also have hit two 5-Team Parlays. The parlays are built around the system chases. For past week time, my unit structure was $10.00 a unit and I have made 72 units. I have decided to share with SBR this chase system I have tested for a week. If you decide to follow, you will need to understand the following about the Over/Under Chase...
The basis of this whole Over/Under Chase is money manage and divide risk between old chases for Over & Under bets. The reason I only use Over and Under bets is due to the low amount of juice compared to chasing heavy favored ML bets. Just to name some, NYY, TAM, & TEX. The usual juice for Over/Under bets reach a maximum of -130 and have an average of -110 to -120. Since I have already started this chase system a week ago, I already have some pending chases that have not cleared as of yet. The starting point of this thread will be a continuation of where I left off in the trial stage.
I find that in order to get a complete understanding of this system as a whole, there is no better way than to use an example. The following example is something that I have created to show how the system works.
Day 1 - For Day 1, I have chosen 5 different games that I want to chase in the Over/Under Chase System, all of which are Over/Under bets. We set the initial chase amount to $10.00 a game. Just for example purpose, let's say the match-ups are TOR/NYY, CLE/BOS, MIN/TAM, NYM/ATL, & HOU/STL. These games were taken from today's match-ups, but in no way reflect my chases as of now or future chases.
For the example, let's say that the bets are as follows:
All units will be $10.00 each for this example
TOR/NYY Over (1.1/1.0)
CLE/BOS Over (1.1/1.0)
MIN/TAM Over (1.1/1.0)
NYM/ATL Under (1.0/1.0)
HOU/STL Under (1.0/1.0)
** The amounts in the parenthesis can be translated as
[units risked]/[units to be won] **
Important **Must Read**
Notice that I have not taken down the exact game total for each of the bets. The reason for this is because this system does not take into consideration the number that is actually shown. The game totals are put up to manipulate the public into betting in the way that the bookies want them to bet. Therefore, we do not take into consideration of emotional bets, and just bet according to the system.
Another factor that you may have noticed is the team in bold for each of the match-ups listed. The team name that is in bold is the team that we are chasing. In no way are we just chasing within a series between two teams. So let's say TOR & NYY play a 3 games series, and we win the first game. We certainly end that chase for the day, but it doesn't mean we cannot start a chase for the same series. This chase system is chasing for a team to be Over or Under. In the TOR/NYY example, we are chasing NYY to have an Over game. You are probably thinking, this is like any other chase system in which you keep doubling your bet until you hit, but there is more to that than doubling the bet. Let's continue with the scenario to show how the system works...
The outcome of Day 1 is as follows:
TOR/NYY Over (1.1/1.0) WIN +1.0 Units
CLE/BOS Over (1.1/1.0) LOSE -1.1 Units
MIN/TAM Over (1.1/1.0) LOSE -1.1 Units
NYM/ATL Under (1.0/1.0) WIN +1.0 Units
HOU/STL Under (1.0/1.0) LOSE -1.0 Units
We have closed out 2 chases and have 3 that we need to be chased. The profits for the 2 wins were +2 units. The loss for the 3 losses were -3.2 units. The 2 units that we are up, we leave that behind and keep it in our books as profit. At this point, we do not increase the bets substantially so that we make up the lost money and the profit we initially sought. This is where money management comes in. We have lost a total of 3.2 units, so we should now seek around 1.8 units in profits. This decision is all up to you and is your choice. I will no way induce your increase in bets. For the example, I think that 1.8 units of profit is sufficient. You can see how the amount risked is money managed from Day 2 & Day 3.
Day 2 - For Day 2, we continue our old chases, but at the same time add several more chases to keep a continuous supply of income. I will add 3 new chases so that we have a constant 5-8 chases that are going on. We are still chasing the Over/Under for the teams that are in bold, so if they are facing someone else, we still chase BOS, TAM, & HOU for the old chases. We want the total to be won by these three chases to be 5.0 units [3.2 Units + 1.8 Units].
Old Chases (Amount to be won should equal to 5.0 Units)
CLE/BOS Over (1.65/1.5)
MIN/TAM Over (2.2/2.0)
HOU/STL Under (1.65/1.5)
New Chases (We start all new chases with 1 Units or $10.00)
SDO/LAD Over (1.1/1.0)
KAN/OAK Under (1.1/1.0)
CIN/PIT Over (1.1/1.0)
We now take a look at the results from Day 2:
Old Chases
CLE/BOS Over (1.65/1.5) WIN +1.5 Units
MIN/TAM Over (2.2/2.0) WIN +2.0 Units
HOU/STL Under (1.65/1.5) LOSE -1.65 Units
New Chases
SDO/LAD Over (1.1/1.0) WIN +1.0 Units
KAN/OAK Under (1.1/1.0) WIN +1.0 Units
CIN/PIT Over (1.1/1.0) LOSE -1.1 Units
Now we need to take a look at the results for Day 2. Old chases have all but 1 which hasn't cleared but we have already made the amount that we had initially lost (3.2 Units) and some profits on top (.3 Units.) The HOU chase will be a chase for only profits at this point. So list down HOU for the chase for tomorrow for 1.65 Units.
The newer chases have all cleared except one. That exceptional one lost us 1.1 Units. The total of old chases at this point is 1.65+1.1=2.75. At this moment, you may decide how much you want to earn from these two bets. Keep in mind that the 1.65 is all profit already, so you are just stacking profits to make more profits. For this example, you can decide to increase it to 4.0 Units. The next day, the old chases will have the HOU Under chase and the CIN Over chase to total to be won at 4.0 units. This is a repetitive process and we always try to keep the same amount of chases going. For the example, I have used only 5-8 chases. But in reality, I have currently keeping 10-15 chases going at once.
I will be posting my chases soon after this post. For those who follow, good luck and your input, opinion, leans, picks, etc are greatly appreciated. Let's do what we all came to do, clip the books!! BOL!!
