I'm sweating bullets right now.

Need the Cards to win by two.

Put down $150 on a four-teamer with Blue Jays RL, Twins RL, Chivas/Manchester United over 3, and Cardinals RL.

Payout is more than $1600. Would be the single biggest hit of my betting life.

Right now I'm kicking myself for not having taken the Astros like I'd thought about, because if I did, I'd be celebrating right now. Instead, I'm sitting here and hoping that Carp can keep dealin' and the Cards can finally cash in on all those hits they've gotten off of Karstens.

Well, short of a walkoff two-run homer and a 2-0 win, that looks to be that. I knew better, really, because I normally stay away from runlines like that, but I bit like a sucker tonight. I'm sure the opportunity will come another time.
