If teams are heading for Bankruptcy how can they still offer huge salaries for baseball players?

Why did the texas rangers broke?

If they knew they were low on money why offer big 23million dollars salaries to players??

Did they think that with that Star player they might had win or sold merchandise?

Teams go to bankruptcy because the taxpayers pay for the ballparks and the players salaries. Even Donald Trump went for bankruptcy but never changed his lifestyle. Bankruptcy always favors the rich and dooms the poor.

Ballparks are empty, your going to see salaries getting lower and lower in this sport

maybe to many home games? people get bored, if they reduce the amount of games per season, people will go to the ballparks

I think that the Rangers went bankrupt because of A-Rod, Dallas Stars, English Premiere League Soccer.... Tom Hicks also took a loan against the Rangers to fund a condo project in Vegas.
