The fact that team total for the Dodgers is -142 under seems unreal. Wow. Not many pitchers get this type of respect from the books that Latos is getting.

I'm really tempted to take the over -- especially with the public on the under (58%).
I would not take the under. If it ends up 3-2, so be it. Just my take, which isn't much when it comes to totals.

So were Waino and Josh Johnson though, BANK. Baseball is a game where the law of averages plays out sooner or later. Let's just hope with Latos, that happens after today.
I just read Kemp, Blake and Russell Martin are all out for LAD. Maybe that's why the Dodger TT under is being juiced that much.

I am going to take the over. Seems like whenever I look at a total and they are juicing the other side I back off...costing myself a winner. Tonight I am not going to back off. We shall see what happens.

im not saying any different and like i said if you made me play it id play over.....but that is why it is where it at, books dont set lines on the fact a player is "due" for a bad outing.....

Why, or what is the argument for taking the over?

hard to see him getting shelled, he has that ordinary pitch that many other pitchers don't have
I don't remember what commentators called it

well that would be why Lad under is juiced..not that surprising when you put two and two together.....pitcher pitching lights out, offense that struggling to score, you gonna get a juiced low total.....

Do the Padres do any "shelling" these days?

no, and i doubt they do it against Padilla... not out of the question that they scrape together a few runs off him then maybe touch the pen up for a few more though......

SD beat LAD 6-1 last night. I would consider that shelling.

I jumped off the pads at the last second. Been on them since yesterday but too much juice. It think they get to Padilla though but couldn't pull the trigger

I'm not surprised that it's juice, just more surprised at the -144 which is pretty high, i don't like playing -150 or higher for sides, so that's why i think -144 is pretty ridiculous. think vegas is right on this one though, latos is a stud and i wasn't even aware that many dodgers were out today, makes me feel better about my sd bet.
