The Yankees look to finish off their series in Cleveland with a winning series after all it is Cleveland a team that is not going to be a contender this season , and to say the least they have not performed like they should have the last few outings. Starting AJ Burnett is not going to help them win the series anymore than if you and I were pitching. This line looks over inflated, The Yanks went dry yesterday with one of the worst hitting performances I’ve ever seen, in addition to that Carmona looks to win his fourth straight. He has had solid outings with consistency. Sometimes numbers lie and I believe in this situation they don’t really tell the complete truth. AJ Burnett is 0-4 in Cleveland; he has not been sharp as of late, and going to a field where he hasn’t particularly had success. Burnett has a 9.00 ERA in losing all four previous starts in Cleveland, although none were with New York. Here is the profile of the game, AJ gets in and gets pulled by the fifth inning. Carmona will stand in until the 8th.
