I had another 0-2 day yesterday and that is two days in a roll. I am sorry, because I feel that I should be better then that and today it is going end. I need to get back on a winning roll. The cubs and rangers helped me last night get back to even, but my posted plays were the braves and reds, both of which gave me a chance, but couldnt win when I needed. Today we have a semi short schedule, but not to bad for a Monday and we have one day game. Lets get rolling and win today.
Philadelphia Phillies -127 over the Colorado Rockies
I am all about streaking teams and both of these teams right now seem to be going in opposite directions. The Rockies have won 2 games out of their last 10 since the all star break and continue on their longest road trip of the year. The Phillies in the mean time have 4 straight and scored 20 runs in this series alone. The Phillies send to the mound Joe Blanton who has not had the season the Phillies wanted or needed. Blanton is 3-6 with a 6.03 this season. He gave up 3 runs over 7 innings in his last start against St. Louis. The Rockies send Jason Hammel to the mound. Hammel is 7-5 with a 4.23 era this season, but has struggled on the road. He is 6-1 at home, but on the road he is 1-4 with a 5.79 era. Troy Tulowiski won't be in the lineup again for the Rockies as he is expected to make his return tommorow. The Rockies slump should be good for the Phillies to continue to try to get back in the race in the east. Their offense looks like it is starting to hit the way it should of in the first place. Look for them to sweep this four game series.
Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Angels over 9(+105)
I think this line will move to 8.5 before game time, so I would wait to see if it does. I don't think there is danger of it going the other way. This is a game that I looked at and I was going to take Boston, even though they killed me yesterday, but after looking at it, I think I am going with the over. Boston sends Clay Buckholz to the mound and he is been the most realible pitcher the Sox have had this year. He is 10-5 with a 2.81 era this season. He was roughed up his last start where he allowed 5 runs and 6 hits in just 4 innings against the Oakland A's. He has not pitched well against the Angels in his career where he is 2-2 with a 6.35 era. His one start this season he gave up 4 runs and 8 hits against them. The Angels will send to the mound Joel Pinero who is having a good season also. He is 10-7 with a 4.18 era. He was also roughed up his last start giving up 6 runs and 11 hits against the Yankees. The teams have had some slug outs this year when they played each other. The teams have combined for 52 runs in just 4 games this season. I like the over and Boston here.
Good luck guys hope today is the 2-0 day
