Too hard to call which team will win because both pitchers are gas cans lately. So, I am going with over 9 for this one.

I agree, looks like a lot of runs will be put up. That said I'm leaning more towards Rockies and the plus money, to me game is a toss up. Final could be 9-6 either way IMO. Good luck men.

phillies TT over should be the play, rockies offense hasnt been clicking that well. while the phillies offense has shedded some light.

True that but with Blanton on the hill there's probably some HS slow pitch chick teams that could put up 8 tomorrow.

Rockies offense might not be clicking. But check out the stats for gas can Blanton. This year in all of his starts he NEVER had a shut out day. He ALWAYS gives up 3 runs or MORE in all of his starts this year. That's the definition of gas can. Watch Blanton goes 6 innings with 4-5 runs tomorrow.

LOL, he could be right, sometimes the "obvious" plays are the worst. A couple other totals also look "obvious" to me, maybe I should fade them as well. Toronto/Baltimore total only 9? Seriously? I wouldn't be surprised if Blue Jays score that many themselves against Berger Boy and Morrow himself is far from an ace, not like he's going to be shutting down the O's.

On the other side I think the Red Sox total is too high. Bucholtz has been super all year, Piniero hasn't been great but Boston not hitting with their banged up line-up, I think last 10 games they are hitting something like .197 or so. So to me there are 3 "obvious" totals, Philly O9, Tor O9, Bos U9, will be interesting to see how many of those actually win. I'm thinking 2 of 3 as a minimum.

Good stuff Patrick McIrish. Agree with you on those obvious picks. Gonna play on Phillies / Rockies game at over 9 for sure. Then I will just pick late games later in the day.

At least we got a push on the Rockies / Phillies over 9. I lost 0.5 unit for taking on Rockies this morning.

Gonna go with these picks for later tonight.
