My boss you to fly out there for Broncos games, he would stay at some hotel and they had a bar there with free transportation to and from field.

See this is shit I need to know...wasn't sure...knew it was a college game and been to plenty of those, but good to know. Do I need a parking pass to park at the stadium or is it first come first serve?

BeeMore, the Rocky Mtn Showdown is Colorado vs. Colorado State, big game out there...watched it last year and figured this year I would go during my trip to Colorado. This is my gift to myself for being locked up at work while you guys are partying in Vegas.

I flew out to Denver in 06 to watch the Chargers play the Broncos. Nice stadium.

I'm not sure on the parking pass?? For the Broncos you need one.. But your looking at at least 30 bucks or better to park any where near that stadium..

The Chiefs???? They haven't been relevant in who knows how long! If one game gets you off have had it!!

I should check into getting a parking pass then if they only have 10K spots, any more info on Denver, Invesco, is appreciated, never been there

hold off on the parking pass..neither team is that good this year, so it wont have the same buzz as a normal matchup..that being said, just wait till you get there..there are all sorts of little parking lots near stadium where you will be able to find parking place..

Good info, thanks, any suggestions on a street/area to look for a spot to park? Don't know anyone in Colorado (well a couple people but they are scientists)...what do you suggest for a traveler who wants to tailgate?

couple cool places VERY close to invesco are brooklyns and skybox grill..

or if you are in a hotel in downtown denver which is very close to invesco, slip shuttle bus guy (from hotel) $10 to take you there..and you can stumble to hotel..not that far from stadium reallly..

I will be staying about 20 minutes from Denver so i will have no choice but to drive in, but that Skybox looks nice, it's in a hotel?

Yeah the SkyBox is on the top floor of a hotel over looking the city, and is a 5 minute walk to the stadium gates.
