no doubt but if we both get in (which there is a good chance) at least cincy would have to play someone else 1st and i think atl makes it to the nl championship at least, being Cox's last year and all......not to mention that would be the great thing about our staff, sure you may beat Oswalt or one one of the other guys but then you gotta face Wainwright the next game, gl with that....

pretty sure you wont be seeing much of Soup can if we get another starter...Whether we get Oswalt or not if we make the playoffs im 100% he wont be on the playoff roster.....

Oswalt didn't impress anyone tonight. 6 earned runs in 5 innings.

Willie Bee, I never said that they do not open the roof around the 7th or 8th innings. I was just 100% sure that tonight would not be a night.


When the temp is above 85 degrees, the roof DOES NOT open. Likewise, if the temperature is below 60 degrees, then the roof is closed guaranteed. Those are the specific rules that the Astros have sent into the league years ago.


And you really didnt have a shot tonight because the game started 1 hour earlier. Also Oswalt is one of the fastest pitchers in the majors between pitches. Thus, most of his games will be over by 8:15 and it is still sunny at that time. The hour time difference and Oswalt on the mound told me that you didnt have a shot
