Well, yesterday was a pretty good day overall. I went 1-1 on my posted picks, but went 5-1 overall on the day, plus hit a pick 4 at los alamitos so it was not to bad. The Twins kept me from being perfect, but it wasn't because of the pitching, but because they could not hit the ball yesterday. They let the oreos get the lead on them and they could just not get runners in from scoring position. The Mets helped me by actually scoring some runs. Santana was once again awesome as he has been his last few starts. We will have to see if this starts a streak with them or if this was just a one time thing and they will be back to their losing ways. Lets get started on Saturday picks and try to keep it going.
Colorado Rockies -158 over the Philadelphia Phillies
I debated on weather or not to take this game, consider I took Jimenez the last time against Florida and Colorado broke my heart and cost me a lot of money, but I could not resist. Even though Jimenez went a season low 5 and 2/3 inning in his last start against Florida he is 9-1 with a 1.60 era on the road this season. He hasnt fared well though in his career against the phillies going 0-2 with a 8.44, but none were this year. The Phillies have hit better the last two games, but before that they had been batting .239 and avering 3.4 runs per game since the all star break. They send Kendrick to the mound today who has been terrible and who they hoped to replace today with Roy Oswalt, but that never happened. He was send to triple AAA after his last start, where he was rocked for 7 runs and 8 hits against St. Louis. Kendrick is 1-1 with a 5.93 era in his career vs the Rockies. I like the pitching matchup here, as I don't think Kendrick can pitch at this level any more.
Chicago White Sox +106 over the Oakland A's
Freddie Garcia takes the ball for the White sox and he has been the ace for the team this year and he has rebounded his career. He is 9-3 with a 4.37 era this season for the Sox. He gave up 3 runs and a season high 11 hits in his last start, but the sox blew a 4 run lead in the 9th to blow his win. He is a bend, but don't break pitcher and Oakland has the perfect offense for him to get his 10th win of the season against. He will need to be good because he is facing a good pitcher in Vin Mazzaro. Mazzaro is 5-2 with a 3.50 era and is 3-0 in his last 4 starts. I feel the pitching matchup is a wash here and with Quentin back in the lineup for the Sox, the offense goes to Chicago. I can't believe I am getting a plus price in this situation. Take the Sox here.

Just a side note if you like streaks
    Cleveland +161 over tampa
I am not saying to take this pick, but I heard yesterday that Tampa has lost 18 straight now in Cleveland, so you can take that with a grain of salt or look more into it. Good luck today guys
