Winds at Wrigley will be gusting to 20mph from the south (blowing out to Waveland Ave and Sheffield) and it will be 92. Watch Suppan get lit up and the over looks good too as Cubs rookie pitcher bullpen is not there yet until Marshall and Marmol can get in.

I think there must be placed a bet on the Cards here, the value is HUGE even with Suppan.
To add to that Suppan tends to pitch ok, and pitched well in his last game just doesn't get the run support. Today, after a SU yesterday, I expect the Cards to go crazy on the Cubs, so even if he gives up 3-4 runs they should pull it off.

I dont get why the Cubs have been such huge favs either lately. Wouldn't touch them even though they have been playing a little better. Best of luck,

Betting against the Cubs, especially when the favorites, has made $$$ this year. Take the Cards.

Cards have pushed hard in the winning streak since the break. They're a liitle stretched and tired as was clear last night. In this heat, today playing nine days in a row and two more after this, and with Suppan out there anyway, they may rest some guys. Don't be surprised if Molina sits today and they go with the backup. They may turn this one over to the baseball gods and go after the Cubs Sat and Sun.
Of course, vs Cubs, they may well get it anyway.

I'm not crazy about this game. Suppan on the mound. They've played 8 games straight. Tough lost yesterday against Philly. Early day game after traveling to Chicago.
Chicago had yesterday off after an early game Wednesday. Wells held the Phillies to 0 runs in 7 innings his last time out.
Chicago is way to inconsistent to bet -160 but I think the Cards are probably tired and could be due for alittle let down.

I think the Cards take the series, but curious to see if they'll be underdogs in all the games.

Going with the over, maybe throw something in with it for a solid parlay.

well with the demanding grind of 9 in a row and the cards fatigued . plus suppan on the mound and, wells being not to much better of a pitcher the over looks like the play .suppun is good for 4or 5 runs on the reg.wells 4 to5 to but, my question would be can the cards being tired even get the runs needed or will the result be like yesterday . i think the cards play it self you can't trust because of suppun he is pretty bad !!!the under 11.5 may be the play
