Thing is, when you don't, they do what they did last night.

Cubs aren't different than any other team in terms of wins and losses -- they just find ways to shit the bed when you need them to come through and they'll show up when no one's paying attention.

cubs are a strange team. they play awful versus poor teams but they play good against top teams. they just beat halladay&phillies few days ago and lost the series to houston. lol.

For entertainment, because I watch almost every Cubs game, I have been betting the underdog in each contest (whether it's the Cubs or their opponent). It's done quite well this season. Cubbies do tend to play up or down to the competition they face.
