I'm not saying LA is a bad play. They are pretty square here. BUT, there's no way they're worth a 55 unit play as I've seen in 1 post. There's really never a baseball game worth that type of play. Let's throw out all of the quantitative analysis on this one dating back to 2007. Ask yourself, why NOT bet the dodgers?
*SF is one of the hottest teams in baseball, scoring more runs than any other team in the month of July
*Lincecum has had his best stuff of the year the past two starts. He was throwing harder 2 starts ago in MIL hitting 95 consistently and had control of 3 plus pitches. He's all fairly well rested and didn't have to pitch long counts last start against the Mets
*The Dodgers have played with no heart, soul, ambition or sense of urgency lately. They are flat, watch the games. There are also no fans in the stadium despite the reported 45K SOLD and the huge Rivalry.
*The Dodgers have lost 5 straight
*The Dodger bullpen is bad this year, pretty darn bad. Broxton didn't pitch last night but he did throw over 40 pitches the night before
*Manny is out
*Will probably take LA another game to adjust after the road trip and break
*Buster Posey
*Pat Burrell (if you really are attached to your past history)
Bottom line, LA i playing bad. SF is playing good. SF has heart, LA does not.
LA may win, but don't bet the house on it.

.......no biggie as i go in expecting the worst, makes it easier not to get stupid that way.....ive had worse losses just this year, the reds/braves game comes to mind where i had cincy at nice plus money and they blew a 6 run lead in the 9th, that one upset me way worse than this, although if you told me la was gonna score 5 off Lincecum i may have went bigger (good thing i didnt know that).......like i said Congrats....
