    Hit'em Hard 2010
Hey Guys, just starting my own MLB thread now. Following the Baseball area for the last 2 years, and decided to introduce myself now. Some might know me from the NHL area last season. If not, here some infos about me:

I'm 22 years old, from germany, an american sports fanatic, following Baseball now for three years (favorite team: Dodgers), and betting sports for almost 6 years now. Tennis, Icehockey, Baseball, Football, Soccer, Basketball, all events across the world.

As told before I start my own MLB thread with daily picks and some write-ups. I hope you don't mind I don't write perfect english as I'm not a native speaker. Nevertheless I'll try my best to keep you entertained with this thread, and I hope you are going to help me with some constructive opinions, hints, Tips, and of course a lot of discussions.

My normal Unit will be $100.

Picks for today will follow later.

    See you guys...

    PICKS 20th July:

    Brewers (-128)................$100 to win $78,13

Dave Bush was very solid this month, with 2 starts and a 2.45 ERA despite a 1-1 record. His two starts vs. Pittsburgh have resultet in a 2-0 record with a 1.35 ERA. Furthermore the Brewers bats starts heating up:
Prince Fielder is .291 this month with 3 homers in the last 3 games. Fielder seems to like the Pirates with 10 RBIs in their 12 meetings this year.
The Pirates will encounter with Brad Lincoln who started his last game in Milwaukee pitching 6 innings with 3 earned runs. His only start against the Brewers. Lincoln has a 6.55 ERA this month and a 6.00 ERA at home this season. Beside this McCutchen is still questionable for todays game.
So...avoid the home dog and go with a good Brewers squad to win this game!

    Rangers (-126)....................$100 to win $79,37

Tommy Hunter starting in this one as a road favorite, posting up a 2.75 ERA this month and an amazing 2.39 ERA this season. Galarraga's only start this month was a No Decision against Baltimore with 6.2 inning and 3 earned runs. Detroit is really in a slump right now losing 6 straight and getting swept by the Indians in their last 4 games series. The Texas Rangers instead have won 13 of 16 on the road. Not forget to mention that Brandon Inge, who has great numbers
is out for the next few weeks. In my opinion is Texas starting to roll, while Detroit won't get out of the slump in this one.

    Giants (+103).................$50 to win $51,50

Very close and extraordinary pitching matchup here. I just think Timmy is the better one, and the Dodgers are slumping right now, and can't hit. Just a feeling...no really good arguments for the Giants ....normally a No Play...I just bet it to make it more interesting.

Good luck with the picks guys....cheers
