Well maybe not the fans but the White Sox announcers are the biggest homers. I watch the games on WGN for comedic effect. "stretch stretch" "get foul" "make em pay Frank" "2 nothing good guys" thats just some of the crap they come up with.

Mets TV announcers are this bad (Keith Hernandez in particular). Every close call is BS, the Met either didn't go around, beat the ball, or was robbed of a strike three.

Say what you will about the YES announcers but they don't generally pull this BS.

Yankee fans don't bother me a bit. In fact, any fan who backs their team to the hilt is ok with me.

The fans that get my ire are the 'negative fans,' you know the ones I'm talking about. They're the ones who get a bigger joy watching a single team lose than their own team win. Mets and Red Sox fans, for example, who have such an enormous amount of vitriol built up in their systems that their only real happiness comes from when the Yankees lose.

One of the most entertaining announcers in baseball Hawk Harrelson. a have to agree and even though i root for the Red Sox because i am local
they are a very annoying fan base. talk radio has contributed to that greatly.
And quite honestly i think Yankee fans are cooler.
