Monday's CLE-MIN line is insane

Obviously the Twins are a superior team and it's in Minneapolis, but come on. Baker has a 6.23 ERA in his last three starts, and gave up 6 runs on 10 hits to the Tribe back in April. He's 7-8 with a 4.87 ERA for crying out loud. Yes he's typically much better at home and at night, but -210 better with no Morneau?

Cleveland's coming off a sweep at home of Detroit, and they continue to play like they have absolutely nothing to lose -- which they don't. The Twins, meanwhile, might suffer an emotional letdown after their big series win over the ChiSox.

I'm taking Cleveland at +196 on principle alone, and probably the over 9 while I'm at it.

Also like the Mets-D'Bags under 9.5, or at least under FF. Why? Because it makes zero sense, given how bad Pelfrey and Kennedy have been lately, and 9.5 is the ultimate sucker bet for over lovers.

And home Sheets will beat Dice-K and the struggling BoSox.

If I didn't know any better re: Cleveland, I'd say this is a setup. In other words, if you made the Tribe a modest dog -- say, +150, where they probably should be -- no one would take them. Vegas figures that by making Cleveland +196, the game will get more action. I'm starting to wonder if Vegas is confident in a Minnesota win, and that the Twins are actually the play here (which would be a pass for me at such a horrible number).

Same thing happened with Tampa today. Whenever a dog becomes "popular," the play automatically loses its value because Vegas made the offer and you took the bait.

Following a 10+ mph wind blowing out game, the total always goes under the next game if winds are blowing in(or even sideways) at more than 5mph. Not only it goes under but it goes way under. well seems like everybdy in on CLE today, everybody thinks flash back right here... well that line so much out of... looks like a huge trap for me... dont forget Baker is much better at HOME...last 4 starts...3 on the road...the one at HOME (against the RAYS btw) he gave up 1 ER in 7 solid Innings...

now everybody will look at his ERA last 3, horrible, against CLE this year, horrible...now Morneau is out too... CLE seems like the obvious, really obvious free money pick at almost 200... think that Vegas has free money to give away ?

Keep in Mind Cleveland has been respectable since June (19-23 since jun 1st) --

BUT, the splits are less than encouraging here --

Cleveland is 16-7 at home over that span and grease fire like 6-15 on the road.

I booked twin last night @207 for 2x. Team just swept someone tend not to do well in the first game in following series. The only thing I don't like much about this spot for twins is Cleveland in same division.
I also booked Dodger and Tiger, both just came out of being swept..................let's see how the night unfold.

i agree that the price is nice, but the Tribe were pretty fortunate a couple of times in the Tigers series, in part because Detroit gave away a lot of chances. Tribe played on pure emotion over the weekend in memory of dearly departed former manager Lou Brown:
