how about the home team on sunday night? They have been like 12-2!! I thought to myself no way cubs win today. So I took the Phils.

Yea I've been all over the ESPN Sunday night home team this year. Interesting, never checked out what they do the following night. Another good one for this game: Winds blowing out 10+ Wrigley is always over(11-0) like tonight, the following game if winds are blowing in it's always under, and winds will be blowing in tomo night.

The home team on Sun night is 6-9 in their next game.

I don't think it's an automatic fade on the winner/loser of the Sun night game based on those records. Pretty much a coin flip. The home/away next game after Sun night might be something to go on. We'll have to watch how that develops down the road. It's hitting a 60% clip but it's not a strong fade in my opinion. The only automatic bet is the home team on Sun night as of now.

good work, yea i had no idea in baseball, the 1st i heard of this was from dexter i believe last NFL season...then houli has mentioned the fade after a win a few times with baseball, but yea to me the only one worth a auto play is home team on the actually sunday night game (and i doubt i can even just do that blindly)....

Nice job tracking.
The fade is meant to identify overvalued favs. Cubs -170 is overvalued.

Agreed....couldn't bet Cubs at that price against anyone. I'll take a small shot on the Stros.

I agree with you on this one Houli. Everybody is seeing the Scrubs take 3 of 4 from Philly & now playing the lowly Astros with probably their best pitcher. I do think the Cubs should be favored but not this high. -170 is insane & poor betting if you take them at that price. I'm not sure what I'm doing with this game yet but I know I wont be taking the Cubs.

Hey 2dabank whats your take on the Philly/Cards game tonight? I havent dug into it yet but I'm tempted to take Philly because everybody is probably riding the hot Cards against the struggling Phillies. Like I said I havent dug into the pitching matchups yet. Just leaning that way.

Philly can't hit. If you can hit you don't win. Hawksworth is not bad, and Kyle Kendrick is average.

That game screams Over. Hawk will probably be in for 5 inn, then a lot of bullpen till the finish.

Doin well Houli! I am growing. I am in the insurance business and get renewals so I get a raise every year. It is tuff to get started but I would reccomend it to anybody that has the staying power to stick it out. I am on my third year now and the future is brighter but I am far from wealth at this point. Most people that are in it 10 yrs + live a very nice life. That's what I am banking on.
How about you? What are you going to go into once out of school? Are you going to stay in Vegas? Hopefully!!LOL

Philly was quite fortunate to win the one game in Chicago it did manage to steal. If you're going to chase anyone in this series, St. Louis has to be the one.

I will never leave. I like this place too much$ I'm a low key kind of guy, and do a lot of hanging out when I'm not in school. My fav place to chill is the sportsbook, and TX doesn't have the.. LOL
I have one more semester at UNLV, and I have an intership at the Wynn in their Audit department. They just are teaching interns how to manage databases. Sounds easy, but you have to be knowledgeable in programming. I'm doing well.

hey mandude..i was curious on the records of the home/away or winning/losing team on if they travel or not..such as since the cubs played at home last night and won and now there at home again as to opposed going on the road to travel..i wonder if this would bring on a fade or play system

I here you Houli.. Why leave? I certanly never would had I been in your shoes. It's a good thing what you have and I would hold on to it. Congrats on your upcoming graduation at UNLV. It would be nice if you could get on with Wynn or another Hotel once you complete your program.
Just curious.. How did you choose UNLV while you were living in TX? Did you get a scholarship or something or was just wanting to live the lifestyle?

should fade losers as well (moreso fade the team leaving town)
with the stricter testing for uppers, baseball teams are having a tougher time making the turn around from a night game to the next day if the opponent has more rest
