Long LONG way to go but spotting Price a 3-run lead probably isn't the best strategy to win. Of course with an "all you can buy" line-up playing in Yankee Stadium it's certainly more than possible New York comes back to win, hold your tickets, nice way to start though if you have the dog.
On another note I find it hilarious we get those ridiculous "Tampa can't compete" threads every bad stretch the Rays find themselves in. As I said before the season started, this team will be there at the end. They aren't going anywhere, with that kind of starting pitching they can and will compete with the big spenders for 162 games plus.Comment -

Yeah, never sat around hoping for Texas leaguers before but they might equal $$, LOL.
On the Sheffield subject I grew up watching him play baseball as a kid, I never saw anyone drive the ball as hard as he did. The coach didn't allow 3rd base coaches when he was up, someone would run on the field after he hit the ball. IMO nobody even at the major league level hit harder line drives than he did, he really hit a heavy ball.Comment -
