The Cubs' season just ended on that one play

Up 1-0 with 2 outs in the 9th, base hit into left and the runner is sent from second to try and score... AWFUL send by the 3rd base coach, ball beats runner to the plate by 10 feet, and somehow Soto can't handle the ball. Runner is safe and it is now 4-1 and counting. If Soto can handle that 20 MPH one hop to the plate, we win 1-0 on a heroic final out at the plate, 3 game winning streak with momentum into tomorrow, etc, etc. I know all you chalk eaters must be happy since everyone had Philly... but just like last night with the Rays, I'm on the right side of a game with the dog and lose in the 9th

I liked the Phillies did not pull the trigger... The Cubs outplayed them for 26 outs...the story of this team... Time to put the boot to GM Henry, ZAmbrano, SUckiono(soriano), and a cast of other bums...get some guys with some heart and give those fans a winner... And what is up with the new owner heard he went on Safari hunt in Africa??? Come on...guy is supposed to be a lifelong cub fan and he cannot stand to watch...

I'm a die hard cubs fan, live in chicago and gave up on them weeks ago.. Too many high paid players who just don't give a shit.. They need to clean house and bring in fresh players.
