4-4 in the 9th and you bring in Choate instead of Soriano?
Now Jeter's going to end it -- scripted to perfection.
What a roll over and die-job.

Yankees only "deserved" it because the Rays quit.
Hope Soriano was resting comfortable in the bullpen during that debacle.

I know it was.
That's why I'm saying the only reason the Yankees "deserved" to win is because Tampa quit. TB out-played them for 8 innings, then Maddon rolled over.

We get it, we know all the squares were on the Yanks....
Yeah I don't get it boys, WTF is Madden doing lately? Just off the All-Star break and you play your biggest competition in the sport and you throw Choate out there in a tied game? They always throw the closer out in these spots for at least 1 inning don't they? I played Tampa FF and game so since they were a dog I made a small profit but that's beside the point, don't give a game away for lack of effort. Thanks dumbass.

Would've been up comfortably on the day if I'd have hit this stupid game.

You don't counter Rivera with Choate and Wheeler. You just don't.
Horrible mismanagement and a wasted opportunity to send a message to a division rival in a huge game for them that they mean business.
I actually think the Yankees kick the tar out of Tampa on Saturday now, FWIW.
