Mennesota Twins for the money line July - Fri 16 ,2010
Minnesota Twins on the money line July Fri 16 - 2010

The Twins will send Francisco Liriano to the bump on Friday night to face the Chicago White Sox and Gavin Floyd. The oddsmakers have made the Twins a substantial favorite in this contest even though Liriano has struggled of late and Floyd has been solid. Minnesota is 44-21 the last sixty-five times they were installed as a favorite. The Sox are 1-10 in Floyds last eleven road starts versus a team with a winning record and 2-8 their last ten as a road underdog. Chicago has found the going tough in the Twin Cities posting a record of 6-20 their last twenty-six there. We are going to back the host as Liriano and the Twins grab a victory in Game Two of this series.

I think this is a good spot for the Twinkies. They got screwed last night with the balk. It destroyed all their momentum. I think the line is telling us everything as well. Oddsmakers are enticing people to take the Sox IMO.

Well ,I hate to tell you I told you so ,but I told you so ,Minnesota Twins 7-4 over White Sox
Francisco Liriano(notes) is trying to avoid that amped-up feeling, but this time he figured out how to keep from overthrowing.
Liriano gave the sagging Twins a big lift on the mound in a 7-4 victory, and faulty fielding by the White Sox on Friday night led to the end of their nine-game winning streak.
“Exactly what we needed,” manager Ron Gardenhire said. “A good dose of medicine.”
Liriano (7-7) left with two outs in the eighth inning to a standing ovation from the Target Field fans on a warm and muggy night, deprived lately of this kind of dominant performance. The Twins had lost Liriano’s last five starts.
“I was just trying to stay back and relaxed, not trying to do too much,” Liriano said.
The White Sox made four errors, and Gavin Floyd(notes) (5-8) gave up four runs during a sloppy fourth inning.

I dont post my pics every day ,anyway I hope this thread made some $$$
