Pitching will improve as they get experience. Hitting will still be bad even if Roberts and Pie are healthy, not enough good players.

According to an ESPN insider article posted up here (by Willie Bee, I think) the O's had the toughest schedule to begin the season of any AL team. If this is correct, and I think it is, the O's should do better in the 2nd half than they've done so far.
