Made referance back 1968 ALL STAR GAME and looked it up, what a trip down memory lane.What a great game it was back then. A time with overpowering pitching.( I think the next year they lowered the mound.!!) In 1968 the NL won 1-0. The pitchers: Don Drysdale,Juan Marichal,Steve Carlton, Gibson,Seaver,MacLain, Bluemoon,Sudden SAM. The hitters:Aaron,Bench,Flood,Mays,McCovey,R ose,Carew,Horton,Frank Howard,Harmon Killebrew,Mickey Mantle,Toy Oliva,Boog Powell,Lou Brock,Brooks Robinson, The ALOU Bros.and Carl Yaz.
I know some of you will say who cares.? And thats OK. But to others who remember one can only smile and think of the good old days of baseball.!
