Why I like these games:

Yanks V Jays RL: AJ Burnett has really found his touch lately! Going 3-1 in July with a 2.00 ERA. Although he hasn't been amazing against his former team (1-2 4.32 ERA) he won his last game against where he pitched very well. Not to mention at home is 4-3 with a 3.25 ERA this season. Morrow on the other hand has had difficulty on the road this year (1-5 6.03 ERA). I like New York in this one big! I'm thinking 8-3 Yanks.

A's V Royals RL: Trevor Cahill against Brian Bannister. Need I say more... Cahill is 5-2 with a 2.19 ERA at home this year while Bannister is 2-6 with a 7.10 ERA on the road this season! Bannister is also 1-5 with a 5.29 ERA against the A's in his career. Although Cahill hasn't been great against the Royals in his young career, I like him to go deep into the game tonight with few runs scored against him. I like the A's in this one 7-1

Parlay: Braves (love Hudson and the Braves and their home dominance), Reds (really like the way youngster Travis Wood pitches and don't have any confidence in the 1-8 Ohlendorf), A's (already explained above)

Why the White Sox in Game 1?: Rick Porcello is hit or miss! He is 0-3 against the White Sox in his career with a 9.77 ERA. Porcello is 0-5 over his last 7 starts with a 5.40 ERA. Buerhle on the other hand is 14-8 in his career against the Tigers with a 2.99 ERA. Over his last 9 starts he is 6-2 with a 2.74 ERA. In his last 4 starts in Detriot Buerhle is 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA. I like Buerhle to continue this success, and I like Porcello to get hit hard early!
