Yesterday was not a good day. My two picks busted and the sad thing is that they were not even close to winning. Those types of days makes you want to give up this buisness and wait for football. The Angels were never in the game and got absolutly demolished by the A's. The Boston game was bad and there are times that I wonder what coaches think. If you saw or listen to the game you know that Lacky was brutal yesterday. The annoucers kept saying he is not himself and he looks terrible. He should of been pulled after three, but he was left him. They were hitting rockets off him all day. They blew two different leads and finally just couldn't come back. Oh Well, time to rebound today. I usually have pretty good Sundays so lets see what we can do.
New York Mets -131 over the Atlanta Braves
This is been a very bad series for the Mets. They needed to at least take two of three here right before the all star break to make a push at Atlanta and get some momentum. They have done the opposite. So far they havent hit at all and the Atlanta pitching has been dominate. They desperatly need this game going into the break. They are at home where they have been good all year. They are going to turn to Santana to help them get this win. Santana in his last start was great winning 3-0 over the reds and going the distance. He look like his old self and had got back some of the speed on his fastball and changeup that has made him great over the years. He has pitched well this season, but just hasn't got the run support he has needed. He pitches well against the braves in his career and has nine starts with a 2.25 era against them. Lowe has pitched 1 time against the Mets this year and lost 3-2. Last year at Citi Field he had a era over seven. The pitching matchup here favors the mets, but don't be suprised if Reyes is out of this game with his hamstring.
Colorado Rockies -130 over the San Diego Padres
Don't look now, but the Rockies are starting to do what they always do this time of year,Win. They have been putting together a streak and seem to be quietly doing it. Over the past week they have had some amazing comebacks. They look to get a share of the lead of the west with a sweep today over the Padres. They are 15-6 over the last 21 games and 15 of 18 at home and 4-1 against the padres. The pitching matchup here will favor the padres though as Richard has pitched well this season including a win over Colorado earlier this week. Francis has been slumping giving up 8 runs over 3 innings in his last start against San Diego. I do look for him to bounce back here. I like the Rockies here as they seem focused to get into first place as the break gets here.

Good luck today, lets win some cash.

good call on the NYM!!! Its about time they wake up v ATL this series. Those f_uckin UNDERS would have killed me if I had played past game 1.

big thanks for calling the COL/SD game to my attention... i was an hour late to work but after my comments I capped this game this morning and put my money where my mouth is on SD +110. Though I was very wrong about RICHARD!!! wow he got f_uckin shelled! Very lucky to cash, but i'll take the win!
