Can the Yankees win it all with their 6,7,8,9 hitters being so utterly useless.

The top 5 in the Yankee lineup are so strong with Gardner, Swisher, Texeiera, ARod and Cano but the bottom 4 in Granderson, Curtis, Civelli and Pena aren't even good enough for single A ball.

More of the same from the useless 4 tonight (0 for 8 tonight with all of them with runners on base).

Granderson will be fine. Curtis, Cervilli and Pena aren't their typical 7,8 and 9.

They need another bench bat. Can't keep relying on guys like Russo, Curtis, Cervelli and Pena as the reserves. Nick Johnson's wrist injury was a major blow.

Cervelli is fine as a reserve. Thames is okay off the bench. Having him start is silly, he cant get an extra base hit to save his life. Curtis,Pena, Russo do not belong in the majors...they are awful. They need a David Dejesus or a player like that and 2 bullpen guys. 1-2 bats and at least 2 guys in the pen but they have to make moves. Sick of Robertson and Park and Winn was the most laughable signing in years for this team. They should go and get Ichiro. Trade Cervelli, Russo and Curtis for him

The Johnson signing was a bad one....period. Adam Dunn would be nice with the short porch too.

I like Granderson, but Posada is better then Cervelli when they use him and Curtis/Pena aren't that great.

                    Posada
                    Granderson
                    Blank
                    Gardner

how's that a bad lineup? They just need to fill in the 8th spot, or get someone new to bad 6th and push Posada and Granderson down the lineup
