Dear God how does this team have a winning record?

No money on the game, but to watch Minny always behind early is just irratating.

Why didnt they go for Cliff Lee??

They just dont want to spend the money.

If you dont want to spend money, then dont own a MLB team.

I heard somewhere that the Twins owner is the richest owner in the Majors. True?

no idea if that is true or not, but they gotta be raking in the cash with the new stadium so that is a lame excuse.......

Huge Twins fan here and by all accounts they did make a push for Lee. They were offering a package that centered around Wilson Ramos and a couple of other prospects. Even hearing that they were in the running for probably the best available player in a trade was very much out of the norm for this team. They never trade prospects. They have actually been spending money lately though. They've signed Mauer, Morneau, Cuddyer, and Nathan to long term deals and spent significant, for them, money on Pavano, Hudson, and Thome this offseason.

I'm glad they didn't go after Lee.

Just paved the road to the Central for us.

                Go Tigers!

not saying they havnt spent money Jericholic, just saying they really need a pitcher and not sure why they couldnt get it done as dont they have the best catching prospect around? Pretty sure sea needed a catcher and twins certainly dont have a need for catching, seemed to me they held the cards, of coarse tex did step up in a big way....

This is all correct. I also see Gardenhire as alot of the problem too, he is too good of buddies with these guys and will not call them out in the media. Mauer has been calling the pitches and he's been doing a complete horseshit job of it, and Gardy still will not say anything. Mauer manages this team. A bunch of under achieveing cocksuckers. Delmon Young should also be hitting 5th not ******* Cuddyer, Cuddyer has 1 fukking homer in the last 6 weeks, unreal. Even after saying all this, the Twins will be in the division race come September. They need to go after Oswalt, but not sure if that will be the case. A new fukking stadium generating all kinds of revenue, they better make some moves soon, or they will be burnt at the stake..

I think it will be a two team race for the division, Twins and Tigers. White Sox will fall off come Auggust.

Amazing how they all (minus Pavano) pitch so much better at home than on the road. Don't known whether it's a coaching or mental thing.

I'm not sure either, it really seemed like the two teams needs matched up nicely. I suppose Oswalt is still available, but I'm nowhere near as excited about him as I would have been about Lee

you crazy, what about the chisox makes you think they will fall off? the only bad thing for them is losing Peavy....they have good starters, good pen, play very sound baseball, not sure why you think they will fall off unless it just wishful thinking from a twins fan....
