LT, this only my 2nd year betting bases full time and 1st time trying a action bet....my question is why would anyone bet action if they risk betting against substantially different odds than they thought? now that i know this it makes absolutly no sense to ever bet action...am i wrong?

Only time to bet Action is when your reason for making a bet has nothing to do with starting pitchers and you already know you will not be near a computer closer to game time. It happens with family guys.

Money and Winning is not the formula here. The Mets don't win but they have the money. It's about the market, the Yankees have a market win or lose and will have money win or lose.

But all that is besides the point. The point is how can anyone with an ounce of self respect attend a Yankees game, which is in essence paying the salary of the individuals on that list, and cheer for those sell out, money grubbing, disloyal pricks to succeed? It's sickening. Those men have no souls, only greed.

O, I see, your point is that free agents should be abolished and that teams should not be allowed to trade their minor league stars for established major league stars in order to try and win the World Series like the Yanks do?

Hate to break the news, but MLB and running the New York Yankees are both huge businesses, so money and winning are the formula. The money doesn't only come from those who attend the games. Are you going to start kicking everyone who wears a Yanks cap or jersey world-wide in the butt? and would those people around the planet all be wearing Yankee paraphernalia if the Yanks played like the Pirates did the last 15 years, sorry Pittsburgh fans. Yankee haters just make too much uninformed noise, they're all jealous.
