I like to play Overs because Unders always have me on edge all game. I like the fact that I can win on an over bet early in the game and just relax instead of yelling at the TV for 9 innings straight to get double plays and what not

Unders are solid plays like you said though and on this STL one tonight. Wainwright seems pretty solid so far hopefully we get a CG out of him tonight.

not sure if its "sharp" or not Hot Wings, but i gotta say i love that thrill of clinging on to a under...wait till NFL you will see me playing so many unders its not even funny.......good news is ive been money on NFL totals my whole life

used to be my Fav sport to bet Paul, then i discovered the greatness that is college hoops and ever since that has been my biggest money maker....are you not from USA Paul? just curious as dont know many guys here that havnt followed NFL most there life ....

Yea, I'm not an american but I know a fair share about baseball and basketball, only a little bit of NFL and nothing about college sports.

I'm usually a very quick learner. Picked up a lot watching baseball since like the 2nd week, bought the MLB TV pack and started watching, studying and learning about ever since.

Been reading about past seasons to know more about players. Didn't know Aaron Hill was hitting .300 last season and now at low .200's for example.

Yeah NFL is probably my favorite sport to watch, but damn the lines are razor sharp IMO. I think it's almost the hardest sport to bet on of the 4 major ones. I think I know more about football than any other sport but not going to lie I have a hard time with it sometimes. I do like playing totals in NFL though because there easier to find value rather than sides. Yeah I remember reading some College hoops threads you had towards the end of last season. I started getting into that more and more and I did have some success. I do alot better in Big 10 conference because I am a huge MSU fan and watch 95% of there games throughout the year. I started expanding into the Mid Major conferences because the lines there are definatley not as sharp. Just need to pick up some more knowledge on those small schools and watch/follow them from start of the season.

Lakerboy was talking about it the other day, in his opinion NFL is the hardest sport to cap because of the gap between games. That gives the linesmakers a lot of time to study the games and give hard lines to bet on.

Good to see that's a general consensus, means I'll try to focus on NBA in the end of the year and slowly learn to bet on NFL.

i hate NBA on a night to night basis, i do pretty well with it but only cause i just bet a handful of games a week.. NBA playoffs= pretty easy money most the time imo......ive had years were i destroyed the NFL but last few years i been much closer to even but at the same time have gotten much sharper with college sports...Hot Wings if you saw my threads during the college hoops regular season you would know i despise the big-10(only thing i like about big-10 is they play a lot of unders

), it was probably my worst conference early in the season (got a little better later), love the mid-majors that is where it at imo......

Yeah I know a lot of people don't really like the Big 10 because the games are slower and low scoring(good for unders) Watch out for MSU this year though I like there chances more than ever. I am a homer but I believe I am speaking rationally. They have there whole squad and coach back and this freshman kid Appling is going to be good.
