Read my post again. THEY HAVE THE 7TH BEST RECORD IN THE NL. Not sure how do they do math where you come from but out here we can do addition and subtraction and cut numbers in halves and all that good stuff.
    1) It's not 7th, it's 8th.
    2) Even if it were 7th, are you kidding me? When I think of "one of the better teams in the league" -- any league -- a team that's middle of the pack and 4th in a 5-team division never comes to mind.

You are being blindly homerish here and acting stupid about it. If someone had posted this same thing about a team other than the Giants, you'd be at it the way I am right now.

wow, there is a lot of hostility in this thread. in my opinion, i think zito is still overrated. he makes 18 mil a year so he should pitch like 18 mil a year. cliff lee, felix, and jj all get paid significantly less but better pitchers. giants are an average team, but by no means an elite team nor an above average team. they have one of the best rotation in the league but still no bats. i agree with nc and bank because i have noticed it myself that people from the bay area do have pride in their team that it seems to alter their capping, but so do boston and new york fans.

regarding the game, i think the giants win this one. zito is a better pitcher than parra and their bullpin is better. looking at the situation, milwaukee's bats have been quiet. they have had 4 hits in each of the last 2 games so what makes me think that they are going to start hammering the ball? giants have been hitting better in each game. i dont see why they are not favored here.

Faded the Sunday ESPN winnner(Angels) took White Sox(W)

Faded the Monday night winner(Philles) Took Braves(W)

Its been profitable for me in the long run. I just havent keep a record.

milwaukee might win by 10 but just think about. in general these games are 50/50, maybe 55/45. now why would one risk money on a losing team that has shown nothing this year for the most part. now the angels have not played well lately, but at +140 vs the white sox in my opinion this game is a coin toss. i give a slight edge to the white sox for sure, but not -150. now that being said i am taking the over 8.5 because my friend santana loves giving up home runs and that is exactly what the white sox thrive on at home in summer day games.

milwaukee seems like a real feast or famine kind of team. this year more famine than feast.

For me Milwaukee has to show that they can score enough runs to win
I watched most of 1st game of the series, they went 1-0 up and didn't score when had chances.
Of course some things are certain in MLB, but only few things.
So to trust a team like Milwaukee cold blooded can mean you a big loss of money, of course if you bet big

The safer option is always wait if game goes in play and see what happens then. Baseball is one of the games that you can actually bet live looking at pitchers performance!
