    7.6
Yesterday was not to bad. I went 1-1 on posted picks. The Yankees game I figured would go over and the A's would cover the 1.5 runline. They tried I guess and just couldn't get one more run. I think I would rather lose by 10 then just one run. It's heartbreaking sometimes, but its baseball and it happens. Chicago White Sox hammered the Angels which was my other pick so that worked out good. I also had a small play on Tampa bay which was a nice comeback by them. So for the most part it was a good day. Lets go for perfection today.
Los Angeles Angels (-110) over the Chicago White Sox
Yesterday, I went with the White Sox and today and I am going go the other way. I do love the way Chicago has been playing, but I am going with the pitching matchup in this game. Peavy has been getting better with every start for Chicago. He had won 3 in a row and pitched 21 scoreless until he ran into Kansas City last game where he gave up 3 but got the loss. He also lost to the Angels in May, but that was a different Peavy. Weaver on the other hand has been great. He is 8-3 with a 2.82 era this season and leads the league in strikeouts and is 6th in era in the league. How he didn't make the all start game in his backyard is something I don't understand. He is 4-0 with a sub 1 era in his four career starts against the white sox. The pitching matchup favors the Angels here. If the angels can scratch 3 or 4 runs here that should be enough even with that White Sox offense starting to come alive.
New York Yankees and the Oakland A's under 7.5
I will wait to see if maybe this game will go to under 8. If i see that it is moving toward seven I will go ahead and play here. I think this is going to be another low scoring game like yesterday. Sabathia has had some rocky starts, but seems to get out of trouble. He is 10-3 with a 3.33 era. It seems he has been better of late. Cahill for the A's has been great this year also. He is 8-2 with a 2.74 era. This should be a great pitching matchup. Cahill is 7-0 with a 2 era over his last 7 starts so he is streaking now. He will have to be to shut down this offense. Oaklands batting has been subpar this year. You put that with the fact they have only been hitting .158 against the Yankees this year and they will be lucky to score 2 runs. I see this being a 3-2 or 4-2 game. I usually don't like going under on a 7-8 run totals. I just feel this pitching matchup is to good to go over that total.

Once again I am only going to do two plays today because the card looks pretty tough. I am not feeling the mood to give up big juice today. Good luck to all and lets cash this.
