When the total is set this high it usually goes over.
Playable flyballs will be carried out of the outfield.

I'm fairly certain that every instance this season when the wind is blowing to dead center at Wrigley, the game has gone over. I think the total was up to 11.5 for one of the games and they put up 13-14 runs.

The total was 14 one game. Game total was 16 or 17. Some games it felt lucky to hit the over but I'm riding this till it dies.

Other trends:
The first couple of innings usually go scoreless
The road team usually wins

No need to even check the weather report. Whenever the line is 10.5 or above at wrigley, either play the over or nothing.

sometimes the very worst thing to do is talk in a thread during a game...especially if it is a thread you started...go back and read your comments as the game goes on...

wind is something that should always be taken into consideration when betting a total at wrigley.
usually if its at 10.5 or higher, its over or no play.

its obviously more important at Wrigley but you should have knowledge of the wind and it direction at every park when playing a total, willie bee does a excellent job of describing them all here..... Ballpark Layouts
like has been mentioned above at Wrigley you dont even got to look becase if it set that high it because the wind blowing out........
