Well, I thought for a minute yesterday, I was going 3-0. Cincinnati pounded the cubs like I expected. I didnt expect them to get them all in the same inning, but Bronson was great against that weak cubs offense again. The Mets looked good and Neise had another strong performace over the Washington Nationals and won 5-3. The Florida Marlins gave me hope on making it a perfect day when they came back and tied the game 2-2. Then the huge error in the 10th and I knew I was on my way to perfection, but then my luck ended. The Marlins bullpen once again decided that they didn't want to win. They gave up two in the bottom of the 10th and I was 2-1. Not bad considering the Mets were a small favorite and the Reds ended up being a nice dog. So today we strive for perfection again to get a little money for the 4th.
Cincinnati Reds -127 over the Chicago Cubs
Well, today I am going fade the Cubs again. Why not? They havent prove to me that they can hit. Today Cueto is on the mound for the Reds. Cueto is 8-2 with a 3.74 era and he has been great his last two starts. He pitched 7 scoreless against Oakland and then gave up only one run to the Phillies. They cubs probably will have to struggle to get 1 or 2 runs in this game. The reds have also won nine of eleven and they are streaking. One of the stats I like to bet on is streaks. I usually go with the streaks until it ends. The cubs on the other hand are falling and falling. Wells has been good, but one stat I found that is interesting is that he has a 6.26 in day games. I see the reds getting 4-5 runs here. I probably would roll with the under, but at my book there is no line on the under yet. I am not sure why Cubs games are always the last to post run lines and totals.
New York Mets +160 over Washington Nationals
A lot of times when I make my picks I look for value in a game. I see value here because I feel the mets are the better team. I know Strausburg is the better pitcher and I don't have to give stats here, because everyone knows about him. R.A Dickey on the other hand has been sensational for the mets until he went to Puerto Rico where he must of not like the food. He was rocked there by the Marlins, but the ballpark there is a hitters park and he was hit. He pitched well before that though going 6-0 with a little over 2 era. So this is his moment of truth. With all the rumors swirling around about Cliff Lee coming to the mets he has to prove something. What a better way to prove something then to do it against the most hype pitcher in baseball. I look for him to have a strong game. If the mets can be patient and get Strausburg into a high pitch count and get to that bullpen, things will be ok. At this price I can pass up on the better team.

Well today there are a lot of games I like but there is some high juice. I don't usually post my high juice plays because I feel anyone can pick those games. These are the two games I feel has the most value. Good luck today lets win some money for the 4th.

You have to wait for totals on Cubs home games b/c the total is determined by the wind direction, and strength.

this will tell if strasburg can pitch on the road.he could be a great pitcher if he can pitch on the road, someone said that he should make the all star game cause of his dominance.well as far as im concerned.he hasnt proved nothing to me yet.and it would be a slap in the face to the other guys if they do that, but i guess these analsist get paid to start rumors and i hope its just a rumor

honestly now i would take a shot with the cubs, people have jumped ship from the cubs (rightfully so) and cueto hasn't exactly shut down the cubs in his career. it sounds dumb but at +120 i think they are something like 21-0 as home dogs on july 4th weekends.
