    Angels bullpen strikes again
Two outs in the 9th, up 1-0, Fuentes can't get the last out. Two outs in the 10th, Shields can't get the last out.

Worst bullpen in history, I swear. Saunders had burned me good a few times before, but he was in line to help me out big tonight...and then that bullpen just had to ruin it. I keep saying I'm going to learn to stop betting on these idiots until they get a decent pen, and I think this was the last straw.

Ah well, I'll get it back tomorrow...real shame though, went from being up huge today to being barely up, provided the White Sox don't mess it up in the bottom of the ninth.

You could just feel the royals winning that game.

If there's one thing that will keep them from winning the AL West and doing some damage in the postseason, it's that pen. For all the money that they have, they could do better in that area. They could do well to have a guy like Soria in their pen, that's for sure.

Stolen base then a hit.... one run. it happens.

Shield hasn't been effective since 2006.

Yeah, soon as KC got runners on in the 9th, I knew what was going to happen...and I knew that if the Angels didn't get a run in the bottom of the ninth that I'd be done for. Ah well, we all take bad beats sometimes.

The Angels will come on strong in the second half of the season.

Fuentes, surprisingly, has been solid in close situations. Most of all his ER have been during mop up duties. The runner that scored was Saunders'.

I was at the game tonight and I think that's why Saunders was pissed about getting pulled. He had a rough start and threw about 40+ pitches in the first 2 innings before pulling it together...you hate to leave without giving up a run and see Fuentes dragging in his gas can with a runner on.

I blame the offense though, for making Davies look like a major league pitcher more than Fuentes and Shields for allowing 2 runs to score. You can't score 1 against anyone, let alone the freaking Royals, and deserve to win.

Fuentes is prolly one of the worse closers in baseball.
