Cubs have failed it up lately, couldnt get it done with Silva on the mound... CIN is 8-2 in their last 10, and have won 4 straight on the road...

I'm thinking of putting a few units on the Reds here, while Arroyo hasn't been an ace, I don't see how the Cubs are favored here....

I just don't see why the books have the Cubs favored.... I am thinking of going for the RRL as well, it just seems like too obvious of a choice

Cubs were favored yesterday too. They didn't win.
Cubs are 1-4 in their last 5 games as a favorite... Unless the entire Reds lineup has the flu, the books are messing with us.

And even though Reds won last night, they should be out for revenge. Hitting 16-5 against and only winning 3-2 in extra innings must feel abit shitty. Time for Votto to get on the ribbie-train!

Just a ton of player matchup data, and even a tiny bit more coming from Dempster's one start against Cincinnati earlier this year, in which he allowed 5 runs in 7 innings. Arroyo hasn't faced Chicago in 2010, but he is a solid 7-6 with a 3.06 ERA against the Cubbies prior to this year. Dempster is just 4-5 with a 4.18 ERA against the Reds, though his start this year did raise that number just a tad from its pre-2010 number. The Reds are a live dog, but not necessarily a winning one.

More often it's a case that the betting public doesn't know what it's doing. The books made the Cubs a favorite against the miserable Pirates in all three games this week; Pittsburgh won two of three and the Cubs were fortunate to win the one they did. As long as the books are handing out free money by making the wrong team the favorite, take advantage of it.

I'm staying away from the totals. Thought about doing the TT over on the reds, but the cubs offense has been horrible so I stayed away from game total. I'm thinking it could easily be a 6-1 game if the reds hit like yesterday and actually score runs.
