Apparently I am one of the few that is really digging Livian Hernandez +122 over Johan Santana and the Mets. I know the Nats are getting a lot of bad press especially after that last nationally televised Strasburg start where they couldn't hit anything (Hudson is pretty great this year).

Hernandez overall ERA better than Santana's this year.

Santana didn't do well lasting 5 innings with a 9 ERA against Washington earlier this year VS. Hernandez has 13.1 innings pitched against the Mets this year and only gave up 2 runs.

I think Santana isn't as insanely dominant like he was in years past, and Hernandez is having a great year for himself. They both have had some slip ups but Hernandez has been putting the Nats in a good position to win against NL opponents this year.

As a dog I really like the Nats.

I forgot to say... Because the Nats looked so bad on TV last time, and the Mets won on ESPN last night the public should be overvalueing the Mets in this spot and inflating the line thus giving value to the Nats ml.

Agree Delux, Santana is struggling and is a shadow of his former self. With + money, it's the Nationals or nothing for me. BOL with this one.
