If im a fellow competitor to the yanks i would seriously think of getting this guy on July 31st or before. Lets face it the yanks cant get a sniff of this guy and in a 5 game series he could be the difference. So who has a chance to get him?

twins got the best prospect to offer and he a catcher so not like he gonna get a chance to play in minny any time soon, if they dont step up and go for him it would be a shame because i think they a ace away from having a shot to go far......

I would say the AL Central big 3 (Twins, Tigers, and to a lesser extent, the WSox) have the greatest need for a top tier ace as this will be one of the tightest divisions down the stretch. The Reds will also need the help of a top ace to compete with the Cards.

The Mariners are going to be able to clean up on this potential trade.

Definitely a chance to bring in a future star. Cardinals and Twins sound like the frontrunners right now, although I'm not too excited that the Cards only real prospect of value is Shelby Miller. The Yanks are throwing up the "we're no longer interested" smokescreen, but they've got the better catcher prospect and would definitely would have the edge over the Twins if they were willing to part with him. Probably won't tho...

rangers need to do something. they seem to be picked to win the division most years lately and fail to deliver. this could be their year and they could use the extra bump a guy like lee would give them.
