    New to betting
Hi just joint 5Dimes with a few 100 bucks. I stumble upond this web site trying to research baseball betting. I been watching baseball for a while so i think i have a few about a good team.

I been reading about baseball betting for a while now and was thinking about something and would like to know what you fellow better think.

I have been following the NNY for a while while. I notice that very few times they have a losing streak of say 5 or more games. They actually have more winning strteaks than losing streaks. Or you can take your favorite team. as long as they have a good win to lost ratio, as well as win streaks to lost streaks. i just choice NNY because thats the team i am researching.

So think about this. depends on your amount of money you have to bet. In a small case say for eg my case.

you bet what ever it takes to win $5. or what u want but u stick to it.

case 1. you won. next bet. bet what is takes to win $5.

case 2. you lost. now you bet what it take to win 5 + what was your first bet amount and continue until you win back all your stakes +$5. once win. start again case 1.

please tell me wht u think. i need you guys input since u r the ones have the experiences.

thanks for atleast u read my post

seems logical right?....sumwhere along the line you will get burned badly, but if you have the bankroll to do it and stay true to your system and only start with a small amount its doable..

Hey man, first off - good thought but it is way too risky for very little money... I'll break it down as easy simple as possible... Let's just say 1 unit is $100 - and we are giving EVEN lines (no juice, no favorites... Unrealistic, I know - but hear me out)

So you want to win $100

      Day 1: Risk $100 = LOSE (down $100)
      Day 2: Risk $200 = LOSE (down $300)
      Day 3: Risk $400 = LOSE (down $700)
      Day 4: Risk $800 = LOSE (down $1500)
      Day 5: Risk $1600 = LOSE (down $3100)
      Day 6: Risk $3200 = LOSE (down $6300)
Day 7: Risk $6400.... WIN!!! OMG YAY = WIN $100 <--- WAS THAT WORTH IT?!

Again... THIS IS WITH NO JUICE/FAVORED MONEY LINES

Imagine a typical NYY game - Yanks are listed as -200 (you gotta risk double to win that 1 unit)
It's insane and you are basically risking a ridiculous amount of money for 1 unit... Sure you COULD win pretty consistently, but if they go on a 7 game losing streak you are out 100x (minimum) 1 unit.... Hope this helps and steers you away from thinking about this.
