Interesting stat for the LAD/NYY game tonight
In 813 AB's against lefties this season, the Yankees are batting .273 with 28 HR's and 115 RBI (HR every 29 AB's; RBI every 7.1 AB's).

In 613 AB's against lefties this season, the Dodgers are batting .246 with 7 HR's and 72 RBI (HR every 88 AB's; RBI every 8.5 AB's).

Yanks rank 2nd in OBP and 4th in OPS vs. lefties in MLB; Dodgers are 24th and 27th, respectively.

If you have the teams' records vs. southpaws this season, feel free to add them.

Yankees vs lefties 14-12. Dodgers vs lefties 9-11. This season of course. I don't really think these records show anything significant to go on. I'm playing the Yanks & the under 7.5. The thing that worries me is all the action on the Yanks but I love the way Pettitte is pitching this season. I'll take the seasoned vet over the youngster who can have some serious control issues at times.

Solid reasoning. I don't like petit and shocked he has done so well but I agree that he is the play till proven otherwise

I think you're correct on that. Not sure what the exact record is but the homies have won the majority of them.......just not tonight though.
