Angels Sign Torii Hunter for 5 years
Angels sign Torii Hunter for a 5 year deal. mlb.com reports

good sign for the halo's and this looks like the means of a few trades that are going to happen. just too much talent in the OF and pitching...they will be busy during the winter meetings trading for another big bat

great move here, every year they lack offense but they finally got somebody to protect Vlad.

Great pickup for the Angels. I know the White Sox were a major player, but Anaheim's offer must have been better.

            $90 million over 5 years. He's good, but that's a heck of a lot.

Supposedly the Royals were sniffing around as well. Considering $19 million represents over 25% of their current payroll, I'd love to see how much they offered.

Good player, but they overpaid by about 30 mil. 80 mil for a 32-year-old OF whose had one 30 HR season and never hit above .290 is ridiculous. The Angels would have been better served to package a few of their prospects and make a run for Miguel Cabrera. Hunter's not the bat they need to protect Vlad.

With Hunter and Gary Matthews the Halos are now paying more than $130 million to overrated CF's. Who's running this team - Brian Cashman?

any team even want the .221 hitter?

Hunter will play about 100 games a year.
