You're right -- I was patient with them last night, and look where it got me.
At least Kennedy's a ticking time bomb and we'll see the Arizona bullpen soon. Again, though, I was saying the same thing last night.

Why did you bet them? You said that cc being out should worry me. Why would you bet on a team that you have doubts about?

Small play. Very small.
Fading Kennedy more than anything else; not sure how he's gotten this far without collapsing.
This lineup looks lost without CC. Upton's horrid, and he's leading off. Nuff said.

Regardless if it was small or not you shouldn't place a wager if you have doubts

You don't have doubts in some of your plays?
You were 100% confident the Indians would hit last night?

"Cheap shots"? What?
Do you want me to lie and say it's a big play? I went with Tampa small. They still should be fine because Kennedy's pitch count is high and Arizona's bullpen sucks.
Don't get mad at me because they aren't hitting again, though.

Again, why would I lie about the size of this play -- especially when I brought up CC before the game? You think I'd mention that and then go big on them anyway?
I have one big play I'm contemplating tonight: Oakland. That's it. And I'm not even sure I'm playing it. Saturdays are a waste of time and money if you're going to go big in MLB.

Sat is a waste of money? Now I'm lost, so what day should I bet, maybe hump day? That's just another cop out

According to my records, Saturdays are more erratic results-wise than others. Fridays and Sundays are typically more predictable, at least from the games I've played.
Who pissed in your cheerios today? No one's holding a gun to your head to continue to respond to this thread, are they?

Tampa's walked 17 times in the last 14-plus innings -- and they've scored once. That's incredible.

So if Saturdays are more erratic why do you even bet that day. Are you that much of a degenerate loser that you need to reload knowing ahead of time that games are "fixed" on Saturday.
Anyway gl with oakland don't know why your going big extra big or whatever your unit denomination is knowing how fixed Saturdays are.
on your bigger/big play on oakland

Why would you make a big play knowing that Saturdays are more erratic. Guess I should re-phrase, I figured you say the fix was in like in every NBA game this season. Congrats on the rays you can buy a cheeseburger now!

"Clog up the forum"?
And how would you describe 95% of the threads on this board?
Again, is someone holding a gun to your head, demanding you do anything but ignore this thread?

It's not that I wasn't confident -- I was simply questioning TB's ability to produce without CC. Having Price on the mound, coming off a no-hitter, being at home, being the superior team, etc. led to a small play for me. I guess I don't see what's so confusing; it's not like I posted "SHOEBOX, DON'T PLAY THIS GAME!!!! TB WILL LOSE BECAUSE CRAWFORD'S NOT PLAYING!!!! I'M GUARANTEEING ARIZONA WILL WIN!!!!" -- not sure why you're acting like I was.

Bj Upton needs to go to the minors. Guy is a bum, so what if he can play D he just stikes out and grounds into double plays all the time. I'm sure the rays have someone in their minor league system who would benefit from big league experience.
