    A cheap perfect game
Tampa is making these perfect games too easy. They donated one to Dallas Braden the other day. Now, they've awarded another one to Edwin Jackson. At this rate, we may have up to four more perfect games this season all courtesy of Tampa!

Shouldnt count when a team has already been no-no'd by \Dallas Braden who we have figured out to be garbage.

              Its called a no hitter.

Perfect game has no room for errors, hit by pitch or walks.....as name indicates it perfect, no one gets on base!

ya...and he threw 150 pitches. he was in the game just to get the no hitter. I will fade him for sure in his next start. 150 pitches...thats almost like throwing both games of a double header.

Also, jackson went around the fence to get the no hitter. In the late innings, when he got behind on count he just walked the batter on purpose instead of throwing proper strikes so that he can maintain the no hitter. Cheap move in his part.

I will fade his next start. books will books will consider the 150 pitches when they set the lines....so the line is not going to that great.

Some of you guys need to step up your baseball terminology. A PERFECT game is 27 up and 27 down with nobody reaching base. Jackson pitched a no-hitter but he walked 8 guys so he didn't have a perfect game. Gotta give him props especially after being in a bases loaded jam and facing a walk-off situation in the bottom of the 9th.

Could be worse though, I have a guy at work that thinks a shutout equals a no-hitter. He's a huge baseball fan, but he's just a tad slow. I don't have the heart to break it to him that a shutout by like 4 different Braves pitchers is not a no-hitter.

Tampa is a quitter, when they are hot they are tough to beat. When they struggle and things don't go their way they give up, or lay down so to speak. I predict they will struggle through the next 10 games, maybe 5-5 at best.

What are you talking about. You know there were people who actually watched the game right?

only 3 runners got on after the 4th inning.

He hit one hitter in the 5th - and I am sure he wasb't thinking no-no there.
batter got on by error in the 8th
guy walked in the 9th - He should have struck out on the pitch before the walk.

The fact that he walked 8 guys makes the no hitter more impressive because he didn't have his best stuff.
