Another great 0-3 day. This game is so strange. I got 16-2 over a three day time frame and now 0-6 over a two time frame. I just don't get it. I guess if i woulded of faded my own two picks the last two days, I could of hit a 6 game parlay and made a lot of money. That is the way the ball bounces though. A lot of people say they win all the time and never lose, but everyone has the streaks. The thing is trying to get out of the streak and get back on the winning path. Thats why i never bet more or less on a game, no matter how strong I feel about it. There are no locks in baseball or in sports in general. I have to shrug off days like the last two days and keep on rolling. So that is what I am going do today with some day games. Lets win and get started
Houston Astros +1.5 (-120)over the San Francisco Giants
Now let me say this I think San Francisco will probably win this game. I always think Matt Cain will be awesome. I usually will bet a plus runline just to get a little insurance. This game I honestly think this will be a one run game. I think that cain will give up 1 or maybe 2 runs at the most. Now most people do not know the name Wandy Rodriguez, but this guy is not bad. He just don't get the run support. He has pitched extremely well and i think he will here again. Houston has been playing better and will be going for a sweep over the struggling Giants. I think this will be a one run game and i like the number.
Seattle Mariners -155 over the Chicago Cubs
Whats the best way to start pitching well and start winning some games? Play the cubs. This is a team that can score 11 runs one day and score 1 run the next 5. Honestly this team is in turmoil. Already rumors of the firing the manager and the season isnt even half over. They play another ace in Felix Hernandez. I don't see them scoring more then 1 run. Seattle does not score much, but all they need is 2 or 3 and that shouldnt be hard against Ted Lilly.
Cleveland Indians and the Philadelphia Phillies over 9.5
The bats will be out in full force in this game. The phillies are on the verge of getting that offense going and they can be explosive. Carmona is a good pitcher but prone to getting in trouble. Blanton, on the other hand. What can i say? I don't like him. He is 2-5 with a 6.96 era. If i am a manager of a team, i do not put a pitcher in the starting lineup that has this type of era over a 7 game time frame. I don't care if i go to the minors to find a pitcher to put in that spot. Blanton is awful and Cleveland can score. I see this being a 8-5 type of game and should easily cover this 9.5 spread espically in this ballpark.
Well lets get back on track today and win some games. Good luck to all
