    Noon: Rays/Padres Interesting Game Thursday
A lot to consider. Can the Padres pull the sweep in Tampa? LeBlanc has been lights out. Garza has been garbage. However, the 9 AM start time has to be something of a concern for Padre backers. The line is very strange. You can get almost +170 all over the place for a guy with a sub 1.00 ERA in his last handful of starts. Garza is boasting an ERA of 10.00+ in his last 3 starts.

It would be interesting if someone could find numbers on how West Coast teams play with the noon start time. Also would like to know the last time the Rays have been swept at home.

Hard to see Rays getting swept here imo even though theyre vastly overrated.

The Pads have just overtook Atlanta for the best record in the NL, and are now tied with the Rays at 42-29, but are still getting disrespected with these high dog lines. Maybe the oddsmakers know something that I don't, but it seems to me that the Pads line shouldn't be more than +130. This should continue to fuel the Padres season-long frustration at being cast aside as an irrelevant overachieving team.

Anyways, I think it will be very hard for the Rays to be swept at home, but anything can happen. I just don't think the Rays should be getting this much chalk, so I won't be betting them. I'm staying away from this game.
