    sweeps
Tomorrow could be pretty interesting as the following teams look to avoid the sweep:

    1) TB @ home - AL
    2) DET on the road - AL
    3) Pitt on the road - NL
    4) TOR @ home - AL
    5) Indians on the road - AL
    6) Orioles @ home - AL

    Other potential (games currently on)
    7) MN on the road - AL
    8) LAD @ home - NL
    9) ATL on the road - NL
    10) Cubs on the road - NL
    11) BOS on the road - AL

If the bottom half teams lose, it could be 11 of the 12 games tomorrow!! wow!!

ride the white sox. Floyd's rolling as is and now he gets both a home and a day game where he has been much better in both aspects over the last few years. This entire white sox team is rolling and I think they take care of the sweep.

pitt is hopeless as usual, texas sweeps

I actually like the brewers to sweep the twins. Never thought I would say that. Blackburn has given up 18 runs in his last 3 road games while lasting just 8 innings. Brewers have their ace going.

Angels are hot and have owned the dodgers. Haeger coming off an injury and was lit up in his only start vs the Angels. Angels for the sweep.

No real thoughts on the rest.

Wow that is pretty interesting. I like most of these teams to break the sweep tomorrow though.

Brewers will lose with their ace on the mound. That's their story. They've won the last 2 as underdogs. They'll now lose as a favorite.

I guess it depends on which blackburn shows up. He's more than capable of throwing a quality start and giving the twins a chance to win but if he's anything like his last 3 road starts then they don't stand much of a chance. The Twins are already down a DH and being a day game after a night game does Mauer play?

So looks like all the 11 teams will be trying to avoid the broom. Giants/astros is the only game today with the series tied at 1-1. Does anybody have any stats on how these teams have done in the sweep situations this season? Will try to post some later today.

Baltimore is 4-8 overall after being down 0-2
-- 0-3 with Milwood on the mound
-- 2-1 record in June (0-1 with milwood on the mound)

Marlins are 1-2 overall after being up 2-0 in a series
-- 1-0 with Robertson on the mound

I think I am going to be backing Florida in that match up

                          Orioles are just pathetic.

TB is 1-1 after being 0-2 (both starts with Garza, split evenly at home and road)
SD is 4-4 after being up 2-0 (0-1 with Leblanc starting, 1-2 on the road)

DET looks good with a 4-1 record after being 0-2 (3-1 on the road)
METS though have a 6-2 record after being up 2-0 (4-2 at home)
