    MLB Wednesday
    Detroit @ New York Mets

Bonderman is 3-4 with a 4.06 ERA. He has had some problems with the home run ball lately, allowing five dingers in his L/4 starts after conceding just two home runs in his first eight. The righty has only made two career appearances against the Mets, one of which was a certified disaster. Bonderman is 1-1 with a 7.36 ERA in just 11.0 innings of work against New York. His ERA is also an awful 6.03 this year away from Comerica Park.
Jeremy Bonderman has an 6.03 ERA on the road in 2010.

R.A. Dickey (5-0, 2.82 ERA) has picked up wins in all five of his outings. All told, his 5-0 record and 2.82 ERA may actually have him in consideration for the All Star team when it is said and done. Opposing batters are hitting a lofty .280 against him, but all things considered, a 1.41 WHIP isn’t so bad.

The Mets have a 10-3 mark in interleague play, and they are 15-4 at home when the ML is +125 to -125 this season.

Play against road teams after a game where the bullpen was rocked for six or more earned runs, against opponent with strong relievers, whose ERA is under 3.00 the last 15 games.

over Detroit (Play of the day)
