Alright guys, we all know the Cubs are one of the worst teams in the league. But if you watch the games, it goes farther than that. It has become obvious this team bets on their own games. They are the second team I have identified after the Phillies.
So why don't we fade them every time? Simple, when the public goes heavy on their opponent, the Cubs play like World Champions. In these instances the Cubs are usually high priced dogs. Then the public sees the game they just won, and think they are back playing like a professional MLB team and play them sooner than later, only to get burned again. It's a wicked cycle the Cubs have going on and they are making some extra money on the side.
It's a whole effort between the players, managers, umpires, and of course, Vegas.
